. Open Foundation West Africa is hosting a three-day event for university students and the general public on open source software in Accra.
Ghana is critical to Cryptocurrency adoption in Africa and as a community the earlier we enter the Ghanaian market, the better. Until recently, Ghana led the list of countries with the most “Bitcoin” search on Google and is currently third behind Nigeria and Bolivia. This makes Ghana a ready market for Cryptocurrency penetration and adoption, with this conference I seek to kick start the journey of PIVX domination in the Cryptocurrency circles in Ghana.
This proposal is for full sponsorship of the event plus funds to make a couple of swags to give away to participants.
Game Plan
1st day: Keynote, 4 hours of breakout session time (Introduction to Blockchain and Bitcoin | Understanding the need for Cryptocurrency and Blockchain technology in Africa [Ghana])
2nd day: About 6 hours of breakout session time (Evolution of Cryptocurrencies from Bitcoin < Dash < PIVX | PIVX the ultimate digital currency for the African continent )
3rd day: About 4 hours of breakout session time (Cryptocurrency Investment Opportunities - Staking PIV and PIVX Masternodes | Becoming part of the global community - How to contribute to the project, accepting PIVX as a merchant and more.) plus Closing Assembly (Recap of 3 days of Purple Greatness).
Expected number of participants: Over 50 people a day
Budget
Sponsorship: USD 2500.00
Swags (T-shirts, Roller banners, and Stickers): USD 700.00
Free PIV to Giveaway: 100 PIV
Total: USD 3300 | 1100 PIV at USD 3.00 each
I missed the budget cycle for ridiculous reasons beyond my control, so we have moved the event back to later in September (date to be announced soon). I am willing to self-fund it, but every donation is welcome.
