Howdy,
The /r/pivx Reddit has been growing at an incredible pace, and the Slack - our primary communication medium - is increasingly problematic in hosting such a grand community as PIVX’s.
As our team looks to colonize more and more platforms, I’ve taken the initiative of transposing the great function of the slack tipbot, which all have grown to love, into our emerging subreddit. We all yearn for those days of purple rain, days in which our community shone with its characteristic graceful ways.
That’s the first functionality I think would make our currently generic subreddit so much more purple.
I am now requesting 100 pivx plus 50 of proposal fee reimbursement in order to fuel the pivxtipbot implementation on our Reddit, and sink our flag deep into Reddit’s soil.
The bot will run off a @buer owned VPS server accessible by authorized PIVX moderators and will function through the reddit account user/pivxtipbot.
Security implementations are in discussion including but not exclusive to:

- Customized and (bi) weekly rotating SSH port to access the VPS remotely.
- Automatic backups to all content on server including wallet.dat to be kept on a secured disk yet to be determined
- A third party code and machine forensic review for any imperfections or backdoors.
- Users who have been inactive over a set time frame will be expunged of the tips received.
