OUR GOALS:
So think about it this way: we are looking to provide the next few steps in answering “how can I help support PIVX” for those who feel like you want to help get the word out and support one another, but aren’t quite sure “how” to yet. OR, say you are in South Africa or Haiti or Australia or Mexico and really want to try and build up some PIV for yourself (or your family). Now, by completing simple tasks (which help increase the awareness of PIVX as a whole), you’ll be able to earn PIV (as WELL as help more and more people learn about what PIVX is)!
BACKGROUND
@SnappySnap, Rhubarbarian, @grant, @Eric_Stanek, @Buer @CryptoBaron and a few others spent some time investigating CURRENTLY available platforms to achieve this task. Collectively, one leader (FanCorp) was identified and we received a proposal from them. Please see attached outline of the description of services, what the system does/can do.
In Brief, the platform is divided into 4 main categories.
Dashboard
The Fancorps Dashboard is the hub of all activity for Pivians. It includes quick links to all main sections of the site, alert notifications, and an Activity Feed which highlights your interaction in real time.
Leaderboard
Every task completion each PIVIAN makes is tabulated and applied to the Leaderboard creating an internal environment of community health. Pivians can increase theri rankings as they participate and interact within the platform.
Speical Orders
Tasks called “Special Orders” can be sent to Pivians to increase the level of engagement and to encourage advocacy on behalf of PIVX. They can be targeted to countless online sites and networks as well as physical locations. For example, we might create a flash task where we want everyone to go like a Steemit post. It might be good for 1hr (but worth double the points).
Rewards
You will be able to redeem the points you have earned by completing orders for prizes and give aways within the Rewards section. These can be gift cards, exclusive swag or branded items, or even more PIV
This is a semi-overview of the platform (that we will be altering / adapting/updating for our use)
FanCorp Overview
We are presenting this proposal to be able to being to help not just increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the amazing community we have together, but also put into place another way for more folks to be involved and EARN more PIV (while helping increase the awareness of PIVX out into the expanding communities globally).
The AMOUNT of PIV being requested is for a few things:
VALUE PROPOSITION:
We (PIVX) have an incredible community, and a GROWING one. A lot of feedback that has been relayed that a more organized/robust means for community members to rapidly determine tasks/things that need to be done (or tasks/things that would HELP spread the word). Especially for folks who aren’t in slack a lot.
This platform (and the team that will need to assemble around it to help support and verify all the tasks) will serve as the next evolution in helping the community to well, help itself. Again, this system on its own will not do anything. It will be up to YOU, the community, to engage if you so want. By providing a SIMPLE, streamlined, online/mobile app that allows you to see tasks/items that will help expand the awareness and impact of PIVX, as well as another way to earn PIV and other items, we are hoping that this will greatly be of use to the community and to PIVX as a whole.
TEAM
This endeavor will be largely initiated and supported by:
@SnappySnap, @Rhubarbarian, @grant @Buer with Consensus Input. All are PIVX investors heavily involved in the daily interactions of PIVX and a desire to see the community, awareness, and impact grow.
REPORTING
Reporting will be accomplished through the platform. We will be able to provide monthly recaps of engagement levels, impact, and use on a granular and macroscopic level.
BUDGET
We are asking for a total of 4250 PIV.
We are not asking for a 100 PIV for reimbursement of proposal submission fees.
