    I've not touched a wallet in over a year (divorce, custody battle, etc...)

    Same problem. I'm trying to upgrade from 3.1.0.2 to 3.3, but synching is stuck at block 1340327 for over an hour. Should I have upgraded to 3.2.x first? Any pointers to the right documentation will be greatly appreciated.
