Proposal to PIVX Treasury: Support for Continued PIVX Advocacy on Social Media

Introduction:
As "Sigge Baskero" on X (formerly Twitter), link https://x.com/siggebaskero, I have been one of the most active voices promoting PIVX since 2019, growing my reach organically to almost 1400 followers. Through daily posts, discussions, and engaging comments, I’ve worked to spread awareness about PIVX's mission, outstanding privacy-focused features and friendly community. Additionally, I manage updates on the official PIVX LinkedIn page to reach audiences beyond X. This proposal seeks the community’s support as appreciation for my sustained efforts and motivation to continue this advocacy.

Campaign Overview:In keeping with my role as a core PIVX advocate, I plan to:

• Continue producing high-quality, thought-provoking posts on X, highlighting PIVX’s privacy advantages and potential as a digital asset and one of the best forms of people's money.
• Engage in discussions on trending topics related to privacy, digital currency, and financial independence, drawing attention to PIVX’s mission.
• Support the PIVX LinkedIn page by posting essential updates that expand our visibility in professional networks.

By promoting PIVX consistently, I aim to inspire discussion and draw attention to the project in a way that motivates others in the crypto community to join the conversation and learn more about PIVX.

Social Metrics:
I have deliberately chosen not to include social media metrics in this proposal, as metrics on X often lack meaningful insights and can be unreliable indicators of impact. Instead, this proposal is based on my consistent engagement and the value of ongoing advocacy for PIVX’s visibility.

Budget:
In this proposal, I am requesting both appreciation for my past efforts and support for continued efforts. By voting YES on this proposal, you show your support for past and ongoing contributions that reinforce PIVX's visibility across social channels. I request 1000 PIV as a monthly compensation for the ongoing commitment to this work, for the next three months.

Alignment with PIVX’s Mission:
PIVX thrives on community-driven efforts, particularly on platforms like X and LinkedIn, which allow for immediate, engaged interaction with diverse audiences. My consistent activity aims to position PIVX as a serious contender for individuals seeking privacy-first digital assets. This proposal highlights the value of sustained advocacy and seeks to motivate continued growth within the PIVX community.

I do not ask for refund of the proposal fee.

I support this proposal 1000% and also agree with the Social Metrics. Musk has made it rather hard to measure one's work out on Twitter, anyone questioning work can go on the social app and look at the person's account to verify they are indeed posting and to see the engagement. Sigge is able to nicely debate with many naysayers on Twitter in a way that makes them stop and actually give PIVX a 2nd look. He has been a constant with PIVX for approx 5-6 years having joined the community after participating in a PIVXcommunity Christmas contest.

No point linking facebook, Instagram, tik tok, all of these others as they are non existent following. I hope you could focus and change this. The replies you do to people is what should be expected from the social manager. Engaging with other posts like you do now. Your not stepping on people's toes btw your evolving how pivx social should be working. If someone loses their role its always because voters want a different approach angle and giving someone else a try. No one is your friend and this is a business. Don't fall into the trap that people are looking out for you. Take control. Put a proposal in. Show your worth. You already have been helping.

Thank you for your reply. In my opinion, the social manager does a great job and excels where I don't: in managing many things at once. I'm perfectly fine with the role I have, and I prefer this over managing stuff. Leacymck and I work well together. We will continue to do and together attract more people int social rolls now that PIVX's new ATH seems closer than ever before.

I'm not here to hate but can someone explain why someone should choose PIVX? There are literally hundreds of coins that do what PIVX "does" and better.

I'm tired of the same old "btc or eth is slow" or whatever you always hear. At this point it's fair to say privacy is not a concern of people, and pivx doesn't even have the best privacy at all.

I believe most posts are "hey pivx is better than grandpa Bitcoin in tps" but that's literally it. Why is it other coins with similar market cap and price history are "long dead" or "zombie" but PIVX somehow isn't one?

There should be a plan in case Binance wants to delist, so at least people can recover some of their loses later.

Certain people can react how they want to this post but this can't be more than a side project to learn coding aspects than an actual coin with a purpose.

And lets not forget the whole "decentralized" lie that is told to new-comers. If you told someone the voting is literally 2 Canadian bozos with outdated views what would they say? I'll just take Solana with better everything and relevance.

Thank you for your opinion. Not sure why you put this in this thread. Maybe you want to hear my opinion about it, so here it comes.

There are literally hundreds of coins that do what PIVX "does" and better.

I don't have a complete oversight of all the coins, but I doubt that there are that many others that combine zero-knowledge privacy, energy-effective PoS tech, community-driven DAO, on-chain governance, ease of use, fair-launch and soon Shielded staking. In fact, I don't know even one other coin. Let me know the ones you know.

At this point it's fair to say privacy is not a concern of people, and pivx doesn't even have the best privacy at all.

Privacy concerns are growing, and in my posts I often refer to exactly this, to raise awareness around financial privacy. It may not be of huge concern now, but it will be, and that's when they will remember PIVX. Best to be prepared in time. Like now.
Regarding the best privacy: I'm not an expert, but from what I've read, PIVX's technology is at least one of the best. Many people love Monero, and even I know that their tech is inferior to PIVX's. Still they're way ahead of us in market cap. That's where marketing comes in, and PIVX's marketing department is growing.

Because PIVX is not "long dead" or "zombie", and you know that. Well at least I know that, but we see what we want to see, right? Confirmation bias, which we all suffer from. I think it's a vital sign of activity that there are still enough people believing in PIVX to not only keep it alive, but to keep building top stuff. This wouldn't be possible without the dedicated and combined efforts of the PIVX community. They're fueled by a common vision and of course hopes and speculation for a higher price. Yes, PIVX isn't one of those.

There is, and it's called "more new listings, use cases and partnerships". Unfortunately you seem to be unaware of the fact that many peple are working hard to broaden the fundamentals that PIVX is standing on.

The PIVX community has become like a family to me. I trust many of my fellow PIVians, and I see that many of them do a LOT to make PIVX better and let others know about it. Most of them are here for many more other reasons than "to learn coding", including me. If you aren't here to learn coding, then why are you?

Yes, the decentralization should be improved. From what I hear, there could be more than two whales, not sure from which countries they are though. I only know of one whale that actively helps with marketing, and who actively helps with welcoming new people, to increase the number of PIVians and masternode owners. So I'm assuming your label of having "outdated views" doesn't apply the one I am thinking of. We have been seeing a big increase of MNs lately, which for me is a sign that our combined efforts to increase decentralization work well.

I hope I could address all or at least most of your concerns. It's easy to complain and point the finger towards others, but I welcome your respectful post to bring up your thoughts.
