Welcome Spring!

I’m going to apologize in advance. This is going to be a lengthy one. I will try my best to be succinct.
Please note: This is my second proposal. So if you vote this one up with the shift in roles, please vote down my earlier proposal with 1 cycle left. I'm not looking to get paid twice.
Also, for the first time I have bumped my proposal from 20,000 to 25,000 piv to balance this additional role. I hope by the end of the month I will have a better idea of the time commitment and will adjust accordingly.

The Proposal:
While the market continues to be challenging, it has opened up a great opportunity to discuss how best to work together and streamline our processes. There has been a lot of discussion surrounding new ideas and how to leverage what we currently have into new markets and communities. I believe there is a need to Amplify human touch, Embrace bold storytelling, Stay agile, stay relevant, and Be our authentic PIVX self. We also need an army of advocates. ;)

We don’t suffer from lack of ideas, but more distribution (breaking into new markets) and the size of our team to execute. As a result, and based on feedback from multiple discussions I am proposing a partial shift to my roles and responsibilities to best support PIVX.

I would like to maintain my role with the Marketing team including Core and Labs and support with creative development and animation where beneficial and continue to explore new platforms to get PIVX into new markets and communities (more on this below).
In addition to this, there has been extensive discussions surrounding building and testing a PIVX Ambassador program. There are several that are currently leveraging Ambassador programs including Cardano, Ethereum, Ripple (XRP), Polkadot (DOT) ….. Within the first phase of development I propose to explore the current models and ideally learn & leverage what is working, and what is not, to help streamline the process of building something that works well for PIVX.

Although I realize it is a sizeable program and cannot be built by one person (yep REALLY hoping we can build a team that can help push this forward, please reach out! ;) ) , I do believe that I can build a strong foundation that with the support of our amazing community can be expanded into a well thought out Pilot program.

My goal for the next month will be to shift my focus to the Ambassador program primarily, while supporting the marketing efforts, meetings and community as much as possible. I am estimating a 70:30 split between Ambassador and Marketing. Following the first month, I will be able to update on the amount of time being spent in each category.


The Why:
An ambassador program for PIVX can serve as a powerful catalyst for building awareness and boosting adoption of the cryptocurrency. By enlisting passionate advocates who understand the value of PIVX, the program can effectively leverage grassroots marketing tactics to reach diverse audiences and communities. Ambassadors can educate potential users about PIVX’s unique features, such as its focus on privacy, scalability, and community-driven development, merchant integration, and utilizing PIVX in everyday life thus, enhancing public understanding and generating interest. Through organized events, social participation, online webinars, and engaging content creation, ambassadors can create a robust ecosystem of information and support as well as a regional social presence that encourages wider adoption. As ambassadors share their positive experiences and insights from the PIVX community, they foster trust and credibility, making PIVX more approachable and appealing to new users. Ultimately, this sustained engagement not only amplifies visibility and user acquisition but also positions PIVX as a leading cryptocurrency in the market by creating a vibrant community that drives ongoing conversation and innovation.


The Role:
The role of an ambassador lead and content creator is crucial for the success of the PIVX Ambassador Program as we embark on this journey. While the full spectrum of roles and responsibilities may not be fully defined at this early stage, this position will focus on establishing a foundational framework that supports outreach and engagement efforts.

Key responsibilities may include, but are not limited too:

• Defining Objectives - Building the foundation of the Pilot program with a phased approach.​
• Defining Roles and Content - tasks and assisting in building training materials and resources necessary for the various phases of the program. Ideally we also use this opportunity to expand and engage a team that is interested in building and expanding the Ambassador program.​
• Recruitment - Guiding the community with resources for recruitment and onboarding of new ambassadors.​
• Engagement – Facilitating communication and collaboration among Ambassadors and Ambassador leads to share best practices and ideas​
• Content Distribution - Creating and sharing engaging content to promote PIVX's values and features.​
• Adaptation - Gathering and incorporating feedback from the ambassador & PIVX community to enhance program effectiveness.​
• Measure Success - Implementing metrics to evaluate the program’s effectiveness.​
As we progress and roll out the program, we remain open to adapting roles and responsibilities based on feedback and the evolving needs of the community, ensuring that the program grows organically and effectively fosters PIVX's global presence.


Initial Considerations & Brainstorming for PIVX Ambassador Program
(Please note, I have a much more extensive draft of the following ideas, but in effort to keep this VERY LONG proposal short, I have condensed it immensely.) I am happy to share working documents however to anyone looking to collaborate or add constructive criticism to the process.

The proposed Ambassador program for PIVX aims to strengthen community ties and encourage active participation in promoting the cryptocurrency. By implementing a structured approach, emphasizing education through webinars, and offering attractive incentives, PIVX can effectively engage ambassadors worldwide, driving awareness and adoption.

Ok. So what else have we been up to?

In short, we have been concentrating on new and innovative ways to push content that we current have (or need minor tweaks) to leverage in new avenues.
Of course this involves a learning curve and as we always appreciate the community feedback (you guys are our eyes and ears while we build), please send ideas and brainstorming our way!
Our Gleam campaign ended last night at midnight EST. We are still in the midst of analyzing the data, but I think we will be able to pull out some gems.

  • FAUCET SITES
    As stated in previous proposals, this has been going very well. In recent months we seem to have 'cracked the code' on VieFaucet and get much more views and attention than we pay for - which implies successfully posting on VieFaucet and getting organic attention. Going forward, we will be doubling the budget we spend and make the promotions last longer periods of time. See some of the results on our Analytics Report.
  • GLEAM
    This is a strong platform to do far-reaching contests and giveaways. It has highly customizable requirements for each contest that is not easy for a bot or multiple accounts to game. We will report how this goes.
  • BIG SHOUT - OUT TO OUR SOCIAL TEAM FOR HELPING MAKE THIS HAPPEN BOTH IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH!
  • TIK TOK BOOSTED POSTS
    We've received solid attention from our Tik Tok boosted posts. We've seen multiple times where it has taken off organically from just a bit of boosting. The channel has a long way to grow, but we are getting there bit by bit.
  • AD PLATFORMS - COINZILLA + DOT ADS
    This will be more static ads and sometimes can vary from $80/day to $1000/day. We will start low range and see how things go. We will grow this in money spent based off of success and the available budget - we are aware that treasury funds should be seen as precious and shared so all can get paid. I have tarried on implementing due to projects and help to do some management + admin. Apologies.

      I am starting to do more management seeing as Robin and now Ellamell is here. By management I mean setting up Nextcloud, helping to brainstorm and delegate tasks to choose from, stepping in what people need help, etc. This will naturally become more of my role as we grow a cohesive team to tackle various marketing and ad efforts.

Hello all!
Just a quick update on the initial test for the Gleam Platform. (Always open to feedback and ideas!)

First, thankyou to the Social team for pushing this out and Guapic for the platform introduction. We are hoping this is the first of many to come to reach new audiences.

  1. RE: GLEAM CAMPAIGN - INITIAL TEST

    So, I crunched some of the numbers and tore the report apart a little. Here are some Findings:
    1. Participants from over 30 countries
    2. Campaign was pushed out by the social team on X, IG, BlueSky, Bastyon, Telegram and CMC
    3. Twitter handles from users were captured - it may be interesting if we had a community member reach out / follow or try to do a friendly interaction.
    4. Leacy mentioned that the gleam contest was the most replied and liked post on BlueSky we've had since it was launched last year.
      1. ^^ That said: Out of 9962 Actions
        9371 were from Vietnam
        591 from roughly 30 different countries (209 of the 591 were from India).
    5. The following are numbers based on removing Vietnam entries (assuming those are bots / scammers)
    Actions:
    28 - Check out our Website - Answer a question.
    6 - Come and say Hi on our Discord Server
    114 - Follow on X (Some may have unfollowed immediately after)
    92 - Refer Friends for Extra Entries (Note, many of these were from India and may have been a scam)

    Some of our feedback from our tester group & overall thoughts:
    1. We should focus more on asking people to repost our posts on Twitter vs. follow to increase the impact.
    2. Personal note - I need to remember to post in our annoucements Discord next time around! Sorry!
    3. Putting in any personal information was an immediate barrier for many Crypto users.
    4. Need to figure out how to gain more authentic traffic without crossing the boundary of Personal Information.
    5. I think we need to try listing what the prize is for our next campaign. This will reduce the cranky people hopefully and increase the traction. But thank-you for the community support on cranky free PIV winners. ;)
    6. We do end up with marketing leads that we could build on and utilize. Eg: Twitter handles / country focus etc..... Perhaps build a reach-out campaign? A Community Manager would be ideal for this.
    7. If we are going to partner with someone like Travala - we need to be very clear on what the goal of the campaign is. Then utilize the tools and entries to push towards this goal. This one was a bit of a 'catch test' approach. But if we can partner and have a clear goal, the audience would be magnified significantly.
    8. Masternode give-away (Guapic)? Potential campaign.
    9. Q - Can we track MPW sign-ups? (Development team - is this possible?)
    10. Q - Can we ask for video entries? Legality for sharing these?
