In the last mounts, I have been trying to be more and more involved in the community, and because my code skills are none (LOL), I tried to find something useful and productive, something none have been doing for a wile, and could be important for PIVX. So I called Community-Ops (thanks for the suggestion to @Eric_Stanek, I will call it "Community Advocate" now), because I’m not the community manager of PIVX, but I can help with my Internet skills and my knowledge of PIVX and the community.
Why I make this proposal?
Basically, to cover some expenses, which will help me continue contributing to the moderation and creation of all the content I've helped share over the years.
What have I been doing until now?
Telegram: Yes, Telegram is not the favorite place for most PIVians, but we have a community there with almost 2,000 people, let say 500 “real people” and the creator/owner, just leave the Telegram Group orphan, so I took control of the group went no one do it, I have been watching for scammers, and trying to keep the conversation positive, sharing news, and promoting PIVX, this is something I've been doing basically alone and uninterruptedly since 2019, with the help of others PIVians.
Reddit: Well, our Reddit was basically abandoned, so with the help of @Jeffrey, I took control of it, ban some scammers and trolls, and now I am trying to post the most essential of the community news, I think Reddit still one of most imports places for the crytoverse yet, so I will try to revitalize it.
HIVE: The Steemit hard-fork HIVE is a DPoS powered blockchain blog, and this community has a great impact in Latam, Africa, and Asia, so I think it would be a great place to promote PIVX in it, sharing everything the community already shares on social media.
PIVX Forum: I have been helping with moderation of this forum itself since it was online.
What do I want the funds for?
Well, is not “a lot of work” to be honest, but take some time from me. I think it would be nice if I can cover some expenses from the DAO, like a retribution of the work I have been doing, and have some extra PIV free for ideas, tips, and rewards for good PIVians. So far I have been doing this with my own PIV.
Primary I will use it to pay the Telegram Premium account, the best way to keep the 80% of scammers away, the Discord Nitro, which is very useful in some cases, especially in server announcements and improvements, and safe some PIVs for tips/rewards inside the Telegram Group, Discord and possible Reddit (I need to think about this carefully).
How I plan to report my work?
Because I'll basically keep doing what I've been doing so far, I don't think it's necessary to report it, but I'll post the links so everyone can see the work done.
