Has anyone encountered issues with Intel Arc drivers while using PIVX-related software or nodes?

Hi everyone,

I recently upgraded my system with an Intel Arc GPU, and I’ve been testing it with various applications. I’ve been running PIVX-related software PIVX Core Wallet on the same machine, and I’m wondering if anyone here has had experience with Intel Arc GPUs when using PIVX or other crypto-related software?

So far, I’ve noticed a few potential issues:

Driver Compatibility: There seems to be a delay in driver updates, which occasionally causes instability when trying to run PIVX full nodes or syncing the wallet.

Performance Concerns: While the Intel Arc GPU seems to perform well in games and other GPU-intensive tasks, I haven’t seen any noticeable improvements when it comes to processing PIVX transactions or interacting with the blockchain. Are there any optimizations I’m missing here?

Has anyone else faced similar problems with Intel Arc GPUs and PIVX-related applications? If so, what troubleshooting steps or fixes have worked for you? Any tips on driver versions or software configurations that might help improve compatibility and stability?

I’d love to hear about your experiences and any advice you have!

Intel Arc GPUs show promise for content creators, especially with their competitive pricing and AV1 encoding support, which is great for modern video workflows. However, software optimization and stability for creative applications like Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve may not yet match the maturity of NVIDIA RTX or AMD Radeon cards. If stability and broad compatibility are top priorities, an RTX 3060 or 3070 might still be the safer choice for now.

PIVX software does not use GPUs, therefore there would be no improvements when it comes to transactions and blockchain.
