Hello PIVX Community!

I would like to start by saying a big thank you to everyone that has supported this proposal. If done right, the results will be exponential. Imagine becoming to cornerstone of Web3 learning - that's what I am gunning for with this program.

The Learn & Earn Program is designed to incentive learning within PIVX and the wider Web3 space. Like I mentioned in my previous proposal, airdrops and giveaways are a great tool to attract new users. However, they are terrible at user retention. By delivering byte-size information about PIVX and other projects, users get to learn and perform certain tasks before they are rewarded, making it a win-win for both parties.

The Learn & Earn Program will also be working in close harmony with the Ambassador Program. Some of the learning materials on the platform can easily be adopted by Advocates and Ambassadors. Along with @RedByrd and others, I'd also be creating content that will help onboard ambassadors and new users.

With regards to the platform, the devs hit a road block at the start of the project. The initial plan was to use WordPress and integrate some LLM plugins. However, there were compatibility issues and the entire site had to be coded from scratch using PHP. The site is still a work in progress but there has been a lot of improvement. I encourage everyone to take a minute to visit the site (coincoursepro.com), follow us on socials, and play with things.
The platform will go live in the coming weeks and it would be great to get feedback from the community before we hit the public.
PS: The Earn part is not yet live even though some PIVX will be reflected in your wallet but there'll definitely be rewards for early testers.

I am aware that images don't display properly on mobile devices. The devs are already working to fix this.

For this funding proposal, I am requesting the sum of 15,000 PIV. This would primarily go towards rewarding early testers, marketing on socials, and would support me in creating more courses.

Once again, this is our project, an evolving one. I urge you to take a minute to explore the site and leave feedback.

Really like this project. Especially the 'Win-Win' in this portion.

Looking forward to a full launch!

Please look for opportunities to integrate MPW and Vector too.

Hello PIVIANs, I thank everyone who has supported me through this project and found time to test the platform. Controlled better testing has gone live and will continue for the next two weeks. Although the plan for this cycle was to focus on marketing on socials, beta testing, and course creation, a significant portion of the resources have gone towards imptoving the UX of the platform, debugging, and beta testing. Notwithstanding, four more courses will be rolled out before the end of this cycle. I urge everyone to try out the platform - https://coincoursepro.com/.

Here's an update on what I've been able to accomplish so far:

Backend and Frontend development
User Profile and Registration:

  • Implemented a mandatory X username field during user registration. This ensures that every new user provides their X profile, which is essential for verifying task completion and preventing system abuse.
  • The X handle is now displayed in the admin user table, enabling easy cross-referencing for the payment of rewards.
  • Users can now update their X profile information from their dashboard.
The idea for capturing Twitter handles is because Twitter is one of the most-used social media platforms for crypto. We've had cases of people completing the courses and trying to claim rewards without completing the tasks by following PIVX on Twitter or Discord. This allows us to identify users that are trying to manipulate the system.

Course Progress Tracking:

  • Corrected the display logic for course status. "Completed" courses are now accurately marked, while "in progress" courses reflect incomplete enrollment.

Withdrawal Request:

  • A clear message "Don't have a wallet yet? Create one on MyPIVXWallet." has been added to the withdrawal request interface. MyPIVXWallet is clickable, styled in purple, italicized, and opens in a new tab, directing users to https://mypivxwallet.org/
  • Email notifications have been implemented for withdrawal requests, and for approved and rejected withdrawals. This ensures users are kept informed throughout the withdrawal process. When a withdrawal is rejected, users receive an email stating the reason the withdrawal was rejected.

Quiz System Improvements:

  • Quizzes are accessible to only logged-in users. And by extension, only registered users can complete courses and claim rewards.
  • A refactor of the quiz code has been implemented to accurately display the correct answers after a submission, regardless of pass/fail status.
  • Users can complete courses regardless of quiz outcomes; the primary purpose of quizzes is for engagement and knowledge assessment.

Social Media Syndication:

  • Implemented necessary SEO improvements to ensure that blog posts and course links shared on social media platforms (like Twitter) correctly display the featured image and relevant metadata.

Security and Anti-Fraud Measures:

  • We successfully mitigated an issue with bot accounts attempting to register in large numbers. In one instance, we had over 25 bot accounts register in one second.
  • We've identified instances of users attempting to game the system by creating multiple accounts. While the IP addresses appear different (suggesting VPN usage), manual checks (e.g., shared withdrawal addresses, similar Twitter accounts, and similarity in names) are currently employed to flag such activity.

Beta Testing:

  • The platform saw a total of 20 unique beta testers, who provided valuable feedback. Their keen observations and detailed reports were instrumental in identifying key areas for improvement, many of which have already been addressed and resolved. I'd also like to confirm that many of the testers have already claimed their rewards. This vital feedback loop ensures that coincoursePro is not just technically sound, but also highly user-centric. Special shoutout to @Alani Khunmahx and @Ghost1984
Overall, I am happy with the progress of the platform and where it is headed. My only request is that you create time to try coincoursePro (if you haven't) and tell others about it too.
