This is my eleventh proposal, in the form of an LRP (Labs Recurring Proposal) to renew my perpetual position in continuing to push PIVX to the next level.

I am the Project Lead and Lead Developer of PIVX Labs - I write code for every Labs Project, manage the tasks and load-balancing of the PIVX Labs team, I handle the networking of Labs (working with our various partners), assist in marketing efforts with both the PIVX Core marketing team and the growing Labs independent marketing team, as well as cultivating the Community Development sector of PIVX to assist small aspiring leaders or developers to build their PIVX projects to their full potential.


💡 Price Note: with the movement in the market, and having absorbed the decline for a while, I am increasing my proposal amount from 17,500 to 25,000 to partially compensate.



What have I done in these last cycles?
These last three cycles were split between a new joint Labs Venture - Vector Messenger, planning and writing the Labs Vision, community events, behind-the-scenes partnerships, and many months of stability work (primarily for MPW and PIVCards, with both having long TODO lists).

A quick, TL;DR recap of everything:
- Vector - Private Messenger was successfully trialed in the PIVX Labs community, an upcoming Private Messenger (Telegram Competitor) for secure off-chain communication using your PIVX wallet, Nostr Identity, or both (Unified Identity).
- My PIVX Wallet v2.1.2 was launched - A stability upgrade targetting many common post-December stability bugs, and adding small improvements around the app.
- PIVCards 'Storefront' has made significant progress - Likely to release by the end of March.

Let's dive in to my responsibilities and contributions below.


  • Vector Development

Vector is a new project designed with two interlinked usecases:
- To be a complete Telegram replacement, and break-in to the communication sector: using purely Decentralised, Open Source infrastructure.
- To be a Trojan Horse to bring PIVX to a wide audience: with seamless in-app tipping, PIVX integrations, and an interlinked PIVX Wallet Identity system.

As of right now, "Vector" in it's current form has not been publicly showcased, with the first "extreme alpha" being known as "Chatstr", running back in late January.
The "extreme alpha" phase was to see if the PIVX Community was interested in the idea; and interest is a mild way to put it!

We have tried various ways to expand the PIVX community, without a massive breakthrough: PIVX Rewards has done decent, with almost 2,000 users in a year, but it is expected that less than 20% of these users are retained, and 1-2% of these users are active in the PIVX community, this is not enough, and as such, Vector is my new attempt at breaking PIVX in to a new sector.

The hope, is that, while Vector operates under a unique project identity - designed to help Vector's growth by decoupling it from the poor reception of "tokenised platform!", PIVX will be ushered in to it's upcoming userbase in a quiet way - by allowing seamless integration, and having each Vector account automatically be a PIVX wallet in the background, allowing universal tipping, and the ability for Vector users to receive PIV even if they've never heard of it before.

The communication sector is gigantic, and it's one of the things that PIVX's goals line up with: Freedom of Speech, Data Ownership, and Interoperability.

The first Beta Release of Vector will come in late March to early April, stay tuned.


  • My PIVX Wallet
PIVCards work has primarily been for the PIVCards Storefront upgrade, likely releasing in late March.
  • Full Catalogue: PIVCards Storefront brings the Catalogue! Fully sorted and regional catalogues to make item discovery easy.
  • Popular Cards: PIVCards Storefront brings the ability to see Popular Cards at PIVCards: the most frequent users of PIVCards will particularly enjoy the curated experience.
  • Massive Bug-sweep: along with a deep catalogue system, this upgrade brings a massive bugfix sweep, targetting common design issues and bugs.

  • My PIVX Wallet
These cycles were rather simple for me! A single Pull Request fixing a handful of BIP-21 implementation issues, discovered while improving PIVCards BIP-21 Payment Requests.
- BIP-21 QR Scanner Fixes

I've also provided reviews and testing for various PRs, and I've guided the development and design process of new features by coordinating our Development and Design teams.


  • Other Stuff
Exterior work continues around the growth of the PIVX Community in to Gaming Servers, now with two official Game Server partnerships (Project Zomboid and SCUM Game), these initiatives have brought a small and humble amount of new PIVians to the community, and are also incredibly cheap initiatives, all-in-all, it's been a great experience for everyone involved!

I have recently finished a series of partnership inquiry emails to various platforms on behalf of PIVCards, with the aim of expanding our range of services in a non-custodial manner: this requires some coordination, and may require some listing work and expenses, but these will be brought to the community as our offers are responded to.
