Role and Introduction
BreadJS is PIVX Labs' full-time Web Developer since September 2023, with his influence on Labs being visible on every single Labs platform you've used, including My PIVX Wallet, PIVCards, PIVX Rewards, PIVListen and more.
Progress Report
My PIVX Wallet v2.0: Redesigned Notifications
BreadJS implemented a redesign to an MPW feature, spec'd and designed by JSKitty and Meerkat: notifications are now beautiful, modern and functional, now with the ability for devs to easily attach "Actions", like "Open in Explorer" when you complete a transaction, as well as completely blending in with the new v2.0 design.
PIVCards: Various Fixes
Some small interface bugs were fixed, such as Footer and Background rendering issues that caused themes to look a little janky, or sometimes squeeze the footer in to awkward scales.
PIVX Rewards: Reward Codes management interface
BreadJS undertook a Labs Task to add a user interface for the creation of Reward Codes via PIVX Rewards - in short, this allows ANY users of the site (not just admins, previously) to create, manage and track Reward Codes; this feature was highly requested, and will come in extremely handy for PIVX Rewards users taking advantage of our Referral Scheme.
For example, this allows folks to create PIV Reward Codes for their own websites, advertisements or promos - bringing people to use their referral code, and thus bringing new users to the PIVX Rewards platform.
This system will be live within the next week. Stay tuned.
Labs Platform: Global Themes
BreadJS took the Theme system developed for PIVCards, and applied it to our Labs Platform CDN system - in short, this means Themes are now global across the entire array of Labs Platform projects (PIVCards, PIVX Rewards, Oracle, Labs Home and it's sub-services, etc).
Themes are about to get much more fun for events and holidays across ALL Labs services!
Proposal Plans
With 2025 only just beginning - the majority of work is currently catching up with a slight Bug + Feature Request backlog left from 2024, these tasks internally for Labs are managed on a self-assignment basis as-and-when previous tasks are complete, as such, I cannot give an accurate "Plan" at this time to what BreadJS will be accomplishing.
However, as promised in December, Labs will be publishing a rough team plan before the end of January with our big goals for 2025, alongside the smaller goals required to reach them - breaking down massive projects in to tiny parts is the best way to complete the whole, unfortunately, this more strategic planning requires time.
