This proposal has been prepared to enhance PIVX’s global visibility and establish a stronger presence in the rapidly growing blockchain ecosystem in Turkey. Our participation in Istanbul Blockchain Week 2025 will be a significant step forward for both the community and the long-term strategies of our project.
Financial Management of the Proposal
- All financial transactions for this proposal will be managed through a newly created MPW .
- All incoming funds will be staked during each cycle to provide additional contributions to the project.
- For transparency and trust, the wallet's seed phrase could be shared with a group of trusted members from the community.
Event Details
Istanbul Blockchain Week is a prestigious and high-profile event where impactful projects and leaders from the blockchain sector meet. Last year, I had the opportunity to represent PIVX at the event as an individual participant.Some notable projects and speakers from the 2024 event:

This year, we aim to adopt a more professional approach by:
- Setting up a dedicated PIVX Stand,
- Having Jeffrey or another PIVX representative participate as a speaker (physically or digitally),
- Conducting non-stop presentations throughout the event,
- Introducing PIVX to the Turkish and international blockchain community.
Stand Objectives and Activities
- Professional Stand Setup:
- A well-designed PIVX stand to provide detailed information about the project to visitors.
- Hand out brochures, stickers, and guides (e.g., wallet setup via QR codes).
- Community Interaction:
- Engage directly with community members and potential new users.
- Organize Q&A sessions to clarify PIVX’s mission and vision. ( It will be broadcast live from the stand area)
- Showcase PIVX Technology:
- Present the privacy-focused features and strong ecosystem of PIVX through live presentations. ( Hawtch will be asked for help and Turkish subtitles will be added to the created video
- Social Media Engagement:
- Host regular live streams on YouTube and Instagram throughout the event, showcasing the stand, the venue, and key developments for PIVX supporters.
- Interactive Activities:
- Attract participants by planning fun and interactive events at the stand, such as dart games or a boxing machine, to create an engaging and memorable experience.
Participation in Istanbul Blockchain Week 2025 presents a unique opportunity to elevate PIVX’s position in both the Turkish blockchain ecosystem and the global market. By taking advantage of this platform, we aim to strengthen our community, expand our outreach, and showcase the innovation and leadership that PIVX represents.
- All PIVX Community members/Administrators can join our live streams and make video calls with people in the event area.
The most important thing here is to organize events that will bring more people to the booth.
At one event I attended, more than +200-300 people a day tried to punch the boxing machine at the BingX booth to win prizes, and in the process the booth got even more crowded.
Istanbul Blockchain Week 2025 Preparation Process
If our proposal to participate in Istanbul Blockchain Week 2025 is approved, we will have approximately 4 months to prepare. This period is of great importance for PIVX to be strongly represented in both the Turkish and international blockchain ecosystem.
At this point, the creative ideas, support, and collaboration of our community are incredibly valuable. To manage both the planning and implementation processes as efficiently as possible before the event, I look forward to your feedback and suggestions.
As we prepare to represent PIVX at this event, the contributions of every member of our community will make this process much more meaningful and impactful:
- Creative Ideas from the PIVX Community: Innovative suggestions, from stand design to interactive activities and presentations during the event.
- Outstanding Content Preparations by the Marketing Team: Creating content to be shared before and during the event and increasing engagement on social media.
- Constructive Feedback from MN Holders: Feedback provided when voting on the proposal will play a significant role in improving the process.
- Initiatives by the Management Team: Leadership and guidance in decision-making processes, such as participating as a speaker at the event and highlighting the ongoing progress of the PIVX project, will be key to the success of this event.

We can collaborate on detailed planning for stand design, materials to be distributed (brochures, stickers, QR code guides, etc.), presentation content, and social media strategies. - Development of Educational Materials:

Even if you cannot physically attend the event, providing ideas and suggestions to make the event more effective will significantly enhance our first fully professional event participation opportunity. - By working together during this process, we will not only ensure effective event preparation but also demonstrate the strength and unity of the PIVX community. I have reached out to the organizers regarding stand costs, and they informed me that they will provide detailed information via email shortly. Last year, when I inquired about a stand at the event, the cost for a 12m² stand was $5,000. I believe we will receive a similar quote this year (this will be confirmed soon, and I will share the email in this thread once it arrives).
Additionally, I have contacted the organizers about the requirements for having a PIVX representative as a speaker at the event, and I am currently awaiting their response.
Given the high costs involved, I believe it would be more practical to submit the budget in parts rather than requesting the entire amount in a single cycle.
Breakdown of Potential Costs

- Marketing Materials and Gifts: Brochures, merchandise, and other materials needed for the event, such as creative props (e.g., dartboards, boxing machines, or other interactive ideas).
- Logistics: Accommodation, car rentals, and daily meal expenses for the team.
- The total estimated costs for the event are expected to range between $8,000 and $10,000.
By dividing the expenses into manageable parts, we can ensure a smoother proposal process and better allocation of resources for this significant opportunity.
IMPORTANT: Please Read This
Recently, I’ve sensed a somewhat negative attitude toward me within the community. This might be a psychological perception, but I feel it’s important to address it transparently.
This proposal will span 3-4 months and involves relatively high budgets. While I understand that having me as the primary person responsible for this proposal and in control of the funds might raise concerns among MN holders, I want to emphasize that I am open to an alternative approach. If the community supports this proposal but has reservations about me managing it, a trusted community member or manager could oversee its execution instead.
This is a critical point because our primary goal is to utilize PIVX resources responsibly and avoid any potential losses. We’ve seen the consequences of mismanagement before, with Leander being the most notable example. I want to acknowledge the possibility that some of you might have doubts about my ability to manage this effectively, and I respect that.
Transparency and collaboration are key, and I’m sharing this to ensure we find the best path forward for this proposal and the community’s trust.
So the offer seems reasonable but if you have any concerns please let me know so that Jeffrey or another manager can make an offer to buy these funds if needed. (I can ask him to do so)
I have been part of this community for a year and have tried to make all the sacrifices I can. There have been times when my performance was low and high. We are all human, and sometimes we go through tough times. No matter the outcome, I always strive to be honest enough to answer all the questions asked here.
