TL;DR​

This proposal outlines the development of a Grant Progress Tracking Dashboard for PIVX-funded projects, designed to provide the community with a transparent, user-friendly platform for monitoring the progress of funded initiatives. The tracker will offer detailed milestone tracking, real-time updates, automated alerts for deviations or delays, and treasury oversight. The goal is to provide unified access to all past and active grants, along with their statuses, with a total cost of $500/Month.

Motivation​

Currently, tracking the progress of PIVX’s grant proposals and budget-funded projects is fragmented, with updates dispersed across forum posts, Discord discussions, and community meetings. This decentralization makes it difficult for the community to maintain oversight, assess project health, or react swiftly to issues.

Rationale​

To address these challenges, we propose the development of a Grant and Treasury Monitoring Dashboard tailored to the needs of the PIVX network, featuring:

• Milestone Tracking: Individual pages for each grant, showcasing milestones, progress indicators (e.g., percentage complete, status bars), and overall completion.
• Real-time Updates: Live progress reporting on milestones and deliverables.
• Automated Alerts: Notifications for overdue milestones, project drift, or stalled activity—via in-app alerts and email.
• Visualizations: Graphs and dashboards to easily interpret project trends and progress.
• Risk Detection: Early warning signals using heuristics or machine learning models to identify delays, stalling, scope changes, or potential misuse. These features will be fully adapted to PIVX’s governance and operational model.
