Liquid369 Proposal Update

This report summarizes what we’ve accomplished since the last cycle, and what we’ll continue over the remainder of the term. Our focus remains on finalizing 6.0, expanding PIVX’s visibility, and laying the groundwork for MPW → PIVX Core wallet integration to streamline onboarding.

Last Cycle Report
  • DMN Backports Complete
Finished backlog of backport PRs for deterministic masternode support.
  • Wallet Integrations
    • Coinomi integration live
    • Edge Wallet integration in testing
    • Cake Wallet integration under local testing—test code pending
  • Exchange & Network Support
    • Helped exchanges recover from a network-provider outage
    • Collaborated with Duddino on pivx‑crawler for real‑time fork alerts
  • Ecosystem & Events
    • Multiple partner meetings across Casper, Cosmos, and Solana ecosystems
    • Managed conference fund allocations for 2025
    • Hosted two LetsExchange AMAs and one NOWNodes AMA
  • Ledger Update
Nano S is discontinued; Nano S+ remains. Continued outreach—expect stronger influence in a summer bull run.
  • Explorer & Services
    • MPW reviews advancing multi‑account & multi‑DMN UI features
    • Upgraded ElectrumX servers with auto‑restart & SSL‑renewal
  • New Dev Recruitment
Interviewed candidates—few panned out. Attending Solana‑focused dev event in May to scout talent.

Upcoming Cycle Plans
  • 6.0 Finalization
Complete remaining backports, merge DMN PRs, prepare for testnet6 rollout.
  • MPW → Core Wallet
    Finalize front‑end, test MPW‑to‑Core seamless feature set (multi‑account, multi‑MN).
  • Infrastructure & Analytics
    Keep regtest/testnet servers healthy
  • Community & BizDev
    • Support new exchanges/integrations with RPC, docs, technical liaison
    • Coordinate with marketing on events and campus outreach
    • Continue AMAs, workshops, and hackathon sponsorships
  • Recruitment & Mentorship
    • Network at Solana dev event; onboard new contributors
    • Mentor early‑stage devs, vet submissions, enforce 2‑review merge policy

Responsibilities (ongoing)
  • Maintain PIVX Core code & repo hygiene
  • Coordinate Core ↔ Labs development
  • Review, test & QA all PRs (2 approvals required)
  • Optimize code & backport BTC Core updates
  • Operate explorer, ElectrumX, regtest & testnet servers
  • Provide infra support for DEXs, community tools, analytics
  • Liaise with exchanges, wallets & market‑makers
  • Drive developer recruitment, events & campus outreach

Hey! Are we having any better luck vetting new devs? I know we get 'devs' coming into Discord everyday, looking for work, and nearly ALL of them misrepresent themselves. I guess basically, I'm asking if there are any new devs that aren't scammers, but are currently being vetted for skills and how well they 'fit' into PIVX? If so, how many?

Thanks for all you do.

When it comes down to anyone showing up in discord, theyre usually not good candidates. There have been a few but once its time to get to work, no one submits anything. Part of this upcoming cycle in 2 weeks I will be at an actual developer conference. I dont think we can compete with what Solana offers but if we can peak some interest it may work out for us.

We have had roughly ~12 interviews in the last 3 months. Between discord and my hunting around, but out of them, 3 were not someone impersonating another developer lol.
