Proposal Abstract
BreadJS is PIVX Labs' part-time web developer since late 2022, whom designed the modern MyPIVXWallet app, as well as the upcoming PIVCards platform frontend, he became a full-time Labs Team member as of September 2023.

In the last cycle, BreadJS was exclusively focused on building and refining the PIVCards Platform UI from scratch, massive progress was made, and the platform is indeed extremely close to launch, with BreadJS and the design team hammering out the final polish of the UI and it's functionality, PIVCards v1.0 is estimated to launch around the end of October, if this goes on-track as expected, then we can expect at least 1-2 weeks of this proposal to be spent on MyPIVXWallet.org and additional ventures outside of PIVCards.

PIVCards Progression
The below content is Work-In-Progress (WIP) and thus can be expected to change either slightly or wholly as we get closer to official release, this is not the finished project.
With PIVCards being a high priority for ~50% of the Labs team, the platform has received all of BreadJS's attention this cycle, the good news: there's hardly anything left, once PIVCards v1.0 is knocked out and launched, Bread will return to additional projects such as MyPIVXWallet.org.

The majority of UI elements and screen-transitions in the PIVCards Platform are smoothly animated, with a sleek glass-like UI approach, a unique experimental aesthetic we're looking to try using more at Labs, work from PIVCards will potentially spill over in to MyPIVXWallet, allowing us to consolidate our design choices so that all Labs platforms maintain a distinct consistency between them all, benefiting both the users (from familiar UX) and the PIVX brand itself; from instant recognition of our iconic designs.

Proposal Plans

Given the focus hasn't shifted too much, the plans mostly remain the same - however, since the iterative design process of PIVCards is coming to a close, we're confident we can finally move BreadJS to other areas of Labs that need further frontend work, such as MyPIVXWallet.org primarily, and on the sidelines; PIVX.Poker and PIVX BitListen.

To give an idea of what we're aiming to achieve this cycle, with BreadJS:

  • Finishing the PIVCards Platform frontend, handing off the rest of the work to Labs Core for official launch.
  • Returning to MyPIVXWallet.org to cleanup some UI areas, and continue improving the design of lesser-used features, like the new Masternode Dashboard, Advanced Mode UI. and more.
  • If time allows: PIVX.Poker and PIVX BitListen improvements.
