Hello PIVX community,

I have built masternode.space, a hosting service for PIVX masternodes. You keep the 10,000 PIVX and the wallet it sits in; we run the node that signs for it. No VPS to rent, nothing to install, nothing to keep switched on at your end.

I am posting here because this forum's own masternode setup guide is the document our whole flow is built around — we simply take over the part of it that needs a server.

How setting one up goes

1. Add a masternode on the site and pay for the first month. We give it an IP address as soon as the payment confirms.
2. Do the wallet side exactly as the guide above describes: lock 10,000 PIVX as collateral in your own wallet, and use masternode outputs to get the transaction id and output index. Register against the address we gave you.
3. Come back and paste in three values — the masternode private key, the collateral transaction id and its output index. If you would rather not run masternode genkey yourself, there is a Generate button on that field; a masternode key is 32 random bytes in PIVX's own envelope, and the site can make one for you.
4. Before accepting anything, we ask the PIVX network about it: the output has to exist, be unspent and hold exactly 10,000 PIVX. If a value is mistyped you are told which one, instead of being left guessing. Wait for 15 confirmations on the collateral before this step.
5. Within a minute or two your entry is in the masternode configuration and the node is running.

What we hold, and what it cannot do

The only secret you give us is the masternode private key — the operating key. It signs for the node. It cannot move your collateral, and your collateral never leaves your wallet at any point.

You can read that key back from your dashboard at any time, so you are never locked in: stop paying and the node drops out of the configuration, and you still have your coins, your key and your registration.

What it costs

$1 a month per masternode, quoted in PIVX at the rate at the moment you order, for 1 to 24 months at a time. Payment is in PIVX, and only through its privacy layer — shielded, never transparent.

Running now: one free month on top of the first payment for any masternode added before 1 October 2026, 00:00 UTC.

Keeping it running

You can keep a PIVX balance on your account and let it renew itself — three days before the paid time runs out we take another month from it. It is on by default and it is one checkbox, so you can turn it off and pay by hand instead. Either way you get a notice by email or Telegram before anything stops, and a second one if the balance cannot cover it.

If you mistyped a key or an index during setup, there is an edit button on the node; the correction reaches the configuration on the next run.

One thing that is not finished yet: proper health monitoring. Today your dashboard shows what we know for certain — whether your masternode is in the configuration the daemon reads, and how long it is paid for — plus the notices above. Watching that it is actually signing and telling you the moment it stops is in development. I would rather say that plainly than put "24/7 monitoring" on a page and let you find out.
