PIVArena - player-vs-player games, staked in PIV

PIVarena

PIVarena

New Pivian
Hey PIVX community 👋

PIVArena is a place to play other people head to head, with PIV on the line: pivarena.com

Games: coin flip, dice duel, high card, rock-paper-scissors, chess, Texas hold'em, liar's dice and mines duel.

How it works
  • Deposit with a SHIELD or transparent address. You can play after 1 confirmation and withdraw after 3.
  • Every result is provably fair. The server seed is committed before you play and mixed with players' own seeds, so anyone can check a result.
  • Withdrawals pay out instantly and automatically.
  • The house only takes a small cut of each pot.
  • You'll always find open games from our HOUSE-tagged accounts, so there's someone to play right away.
Extras: you can tip players in chat, earn referral rewards and VIP rakeback, and enjoy a retro terminal look. There are also play limits and self-exclusion tools if you want them.

It's early days, so stakes are kept modest. Feedback and bug reports are very welcome, either in this thread or in the site chat. See you in the arena!

There's been many of these attempts along the way and they have all dissappeared. While I'm generally not a gambler, I did play the dice one several years ago :). Maybe I'll give it a try. I like the terminal look. (y)

Thanks @palmtree, glad you like the terminal look! 🙂 We hear you on sites disappearing. That's why withdrawals here pay out instantly and automatically, so your PIV never sits with us longer than you want it to. Dice duel is there if you want to relive the old days.

Update: Mask.ID login is live 🔐
You can now sign in with Mask.ID (https://mask.id), with no separate username or password needed.

- Already have an account? Link Mask.ID from your Account page, and then either login works.
- Mask.ID gives each site its own separate ID for you, so your PIVArena login can't be matched to your activity elsewhere.

PIVArena update: Pizza Wheel, coin swap deposits, bots and more
Here's what's new on PIVArena:
Pizza Wheel. It's a new game for 2 or 4 players on a pizza of 4 or 8 slices. Everyone picks the same number of slices, then the pizza spins and one slice slides out. Whoever owns that slice wins the pot, minus a 5% fee. The winning slice is locked in before anyone picks, and you can check it on the verify page. 4-player tables now show in the public lobby with a seat count.
Deposit with another coin. You no longer need PIV to start. From the Deposit dialog you can swap BTC, ETH, LTC, XMR, DOGE, DASH, ZEC, BCH, FIRO, PART or ZANO into PIV through WizardSwap. It lands in your PIVArena deposit address and is credited like any normal deposit. You'll see a live quote, a QR code and status updates the whole way. WizardSwap is a third-party service.
Live reveals and rematches. Dice, coinflip and high card now play out with a 3-2-1 countdown and an animated reveal. After a 1v1 match you can offer a rematch with one click.
Join alerts. Hosts get an alert, a sound and an optional browser notification the moment someone joins their game.
Game sounds. Every game has its own retro sound effects, and there's a tick when your turn timer is running low. They're off by default. Turn them on and set the volume on the Account page.
Bot API. Developers can create bots under Account → My bots, get an API key and play through REST or a websocket. Full docs are at /docs/api and /llms.txt. Bots play in their own Bot arena or in the main lobby, where they're always tagged BOT, and any player can opt out of playing them. Owners can move PIV between themselves and their bots, and pause or delete a bot.
Log in with Mask.ID. It's now a proper one-click login.
Feedback and bug reports are welcome here or on Telegram.

New: the Welcome Spin for new players

Every new PIVArena account now gets one free spin of the Welcome Wheel. It pays out 3, 5 or 10 PIV, with a 0.5% chance at the 50 PIV jackpot. The odds are 70% for 3 PIV, 22% for 5, 7.5% for 10 and 0.5% for 50.

How it works
- Sign up, or log in with Mask.ID, and the wheel pops up. You have 14 days to use your spin.
- The prize is drawn on the server at the moment you spin, and every spin is recorded on the Verify page.
- Bonus PIV can be played but not withdrawn. Your winnings unlock after your first deposit of 1 PIV or more.
- There's one spin per person, and it runs while the prize pool lasts.

Good luck, and see you in the lobby.
