Hello PIVX community!


My name is Alani Khunmahx, and I’m excited to formally introduce myself through this proposal. I am a proud advocate for PIVX, with a strong commitment to promoting privacy, freedom, and decentralization worldwide.


I currently manage three X (formerly Twitter) accounts dedicated to PIVX outreach:

✅ PIVX Africa (https://x.com/PIVX_AFRICA) – Focused on growing adoption across African audiences, launched in October 2024, and is steadily building a strong regional presence.

✅ Alani (https://x.com/Alanikhunmahx) – My personal global voice sharing PIVX content and crypto education to a broad audience.

✅ Freedom and Privacy (https://x.com/fr_privacy) – Originally Sigge’s account, which I took over and rebranded last month as “Freedom and Privacy” to align with PIVX’s values and continue amplifying its message of privacy and decentralization, thanks to LeacyMCK for inspiring the idea.

Each of these accounts is used strategically every day to amplify PIVX’s voice, reach new communities, and educate people about the power of PIVX. My approach focuses on consistent engagement, high-quality content, and fostering genuine conversations. I aim to drive not just follower numbers, but meaningful interactions that lead to education and adoption.


While each account is at a different stage of growth, I am committed to spending all my attention on promoting PIVX across these three platforms, ensuring we have a strong presence in both local and global crypto communities.

I am seeking funding to allow me to dedicate all my attention and energy to the growth and promotion of PIVX, ensuring consistent content creation and engagement across all accounts. The funds will support my work on content production, engagement, boosting, and reporting. I plan to focus entirely on this mission and contribute to PIVX’s growth full-time.

This amount will help me remain committed to the project even through any fluctuations in PIVX’s market price, ensuring stable and consistent work for the community.

Alani has been supporting PIVX out on X since early last Fall. Along with using his own account to promote and create complimentary posts for PIVX, he has created the PIVX Africa community account also. Earlier this Spring Sigge informed us that he will be stepping down from running his well established and active account. Sigge reached out to Alani and offered his account rather than deleting it. They worked together until Alani was comfortable taking over lead of his account. All you have to do is read some of his posts and how he engages with other accounts to know that he is well on his way to being a great asset to our team. I am impressed and proud of how far Alani has come in such a short time.

I am VERY happy to see this proposal and it has my support.

Of course, the support for PIVX on your personal social accounts is a perfect example of you proving yourself first. It is why the opportunity to take over Sigge's account was presented to you, and also why I believe this proposal will pass and be funded. It is exactly how Meritocracy works.

However, I think what we have realized, is that people should not be paid to promote PIVX on their personal social accounts. They should only be paid to manage 'official' PIVX social accounts, and those accounts also should have access controlled via PIVX Core. (I think Liquid handles this now.) This is simply because nothing lasts forever, and at some point, you might leave PIVX, and then that 'investment' PIVX made is lost.

So, while I LOVE what you have done for PIVX with your personal X account, and it is indeed important to show examples in this proposal, and also I hope it continues, the cost of this proposal is easily justified by the efforts in the 2 other 'official' social channels.

For me, my personal account feels like a practical extension of PIVX, fully dedicated to its growth, alongside the two other official PIVX accounts I manage. I’ve already contacted Liquid to discuss Core team access if ever needed. But above all, please know I will always support and stand with PIVX.
 
I love this @Alani Khunmahx and I'm so excited about our chats in the Ambassador program. You have mentioned so many amazing ideas that I think could really enhance the regional outreach. I love that you are thinking outside the box and love that you are taking initiative. WHOOP WHOOP. Let's do this!

The short answer is I am VERY HAPPY with your efforts. I just would like to see you do exactly the same thing, with more support from others, inside the New Ambassador Program proposal. @RedByrd will be posting that new proposal soon. She needs your feedback first though. Please reach out to her!

The initial NO votes were to grab your attention. Sorry for that strategy - but it worked!

If you have a solid reason why your efforts won't work under the New Ambassador Program, I would love to hear it. But, I think once you've read through the material, you will see there are HUGE advantages to working inside it.

It makes it a LOT easier for MNOs to complete their due diligence too.

If you accept to work under the New Ambassador Program, then please update this proposal to state that and request it be voted down, so that you are not paid twice.

I am VERY HAPPY with the work you do, and I get positive feedback from others too. I just want to see PIVX succeed and for that, we need MANY Ambassadors, organized and working together.

It's not privacy by default, it's optional.

@RedByrd if we are doing this ambassador program there needs to be oversight in posting for everyone. I'm not sure who does what these days. I call people out I then get moaned at for being wrong so want to check how this is all going be managed.

Welcome back, hope you are doing well.
So you know, this is not an official account, it his is private account. He is not paid to run this account. I can't keep track on all members and followers posts unfortunately so at times, some of what they write may be incorrect. I did not repost this either. Alani is an awesome support for PIVX, he has stepped up brilliantly. If you look at his other work you will be impressed.
 
@Gerrald Catching mistakes like this is the responsibility of everyone in the PIVX Community.

I have been watching most of his posts, and have corrected him via DM a few times. No one is perfect, and crypto is a complex beast to understand. I am extremely impressed he is learning so much and so fast! When I do point out a mistake, he is quick to correct it, and asks intelligent questions to make sure he understands. I know @RedByrd has some good ideas how to handle getting future new Ambassadors up the learning curve fast, and she can explain that when she gets online. Best would be for you to ask the question in her Ambassador proposal, for her to answer there, since it is unrelated to this one. But even with that in place in the future, you can also catch the errors and DM the author.

Hello! Yes, agreed. We are working on some sort of management software that ideally we can track metrics, posts, engagement etc.... so that we can report on the Team Impact. There will need to be some individual accountability as well as community transparency. Unfortunately we would need an entire full-time position to monitor everything, so for now I think we will need to lean on our team members and the community to help self-regulate. I've noticed in the past that if there are posts that go outside of the PIVX code of conduct it becomes clear very quickly. We have a great community. Alani has proposed several amazing ideas and has plans for Ambassador outreach in his region. I believe he will be an amazing asset. @LeacyMcK is always amazing at helping to guide Social users (Thanks Leacy!).

Yes, we have compiled a code of conduct, a brand guide and are working on a best practice guide for social media purposes. We are aiming to build training modules for new Advocates and Ambassadors that help them get up the learning curve quickly. @clem is also developing a Learn to Earn program which I think will be an amazing resource and compliment the Ambassador program nicely. We will be adjusting as we move forward to maximize the impact and efficiencies. So it is what we call a 'Living Document'.
