DAO Proposal: PIVX is Easy – Phase 2 (A-OK): Ambassador Operational Kit
(Prepared by 0xBDV – September 2025)
Overview

Following the successful completion of Phase 1, which delivered foundational ambassador assets (QR codes card concepts, posters, onboarding flows), this Phase 2: A-OK (Ambassador Operational Kit) proposal seeks to build a testable MVP focused on real-world merchant activation.

We now move from concepts and design toward real deployment:

"A pilot that works in a coffee shop… and can scale anywhere."
---
Phase 1 Deliverables Recap
- Ambassador role SOPs and onboarding modules
- Setup checklist for both merchants and ambassadors
- Starter poster/QR pack for in-store and online use
- Lean cost estimate (~$8.90/merchant)
- Sprint timeline and KPIs
- UX logic inspired by LN adoption campaigns
- Staking reward incentive framework (snapshot-based)

---
Feedback from DAO & Community
To address key feedback, Phase 2 will:
- Include a complete walk-through MVP (coffee shop / pub)
- Show customer journey clearly via visual flow or short demo video
- Introduce a **physical loyalty punch card** system, not digital yet
- Avoid POS integration – use simple slips or tablet screens
- Clarify merchant-side experience (float, snapshot reward logic)
- Provide visual guide for QR/seed setup for staff
- Launch pivx.org/coffee-style demo UX page

Goals of Phase 2
- Finalise and test a lean MVP for real-world merchant pilots
- Onboard at least one coffee shop and one pub
- Develop the Ambassador Operational Kit (A-OK).
- Create visual walkthroughs for:
- Customers
- Staff
- Ambassadors
- Merchant owners
- Prepare and test a physical PIVX punch card loyalty system
- Provide mockups for slips/tablet interface and simple signage
- Keep merchant friction near zero
- Test real transactions using real PIVX, with feedback loop

-Role-Based Script Logic
This phase introduces clear, step-by-step scripts for each 'actor':
- Customer (tech-savvy): Scan QR → pay in wallet → receive stamp → share feedback
- Customer (newbie): Ask for help → ambassador assists → wallet setup → earn stamp
- Customer (coupon-lover): Uses punch card → redeems free drink after 6 stamps
- Staff (new): Hand slip → confirm payment → apply stamp/punch hole.
- Staff (experienced): Explain promo → issue reward → refer to ambassador if needed
- Merchant owner: Approves pilot → reviews float → monitors staking rewards
- Ambassador: Onboards venue → sets up signage → supports live rollout → collects feedback

Loyalty System MVP – Punch Card Model
We’re intentionally avoiding digital loyalty systems for now. This Phase 2 pilot will use a:
- Physical (small) punch card, branded with PIVX
- 1 stamp per purchase using PIVX (min spend applies)
- 6th item free (e.g. coffee, snack, drink)
- Redemption time limited to Mon–Thu, 2–5PM to avoid peak hours
- Anti-abuse protection via staff initials and daily stamp limits

This provides a low-tech, zero-training incentive mechanism for repeat usage.

Deliverables
- Full Ambassador Operational Kit (A-OK)
- Printable guides + in-store quick-start cards
- Flowcharts or short demo videos for all parties
- Physical punch card template and test batch
- Tablet/slip UX mockups for PIVX payments
- pivx.org/coffee-style landing/demo page
- Optional: bonus materials for future pilots

🙏 Closing
This proposal presents a micro-granular Phase 2 pilot for PIVX merchant onboarding: minimal tech, real-world deployment, and measurable outcomes.
We believe in proving value one cup at a time.
With your support, we aim to show the DAO—and the world—that PIVX is Easy.

Funding Request
Total: 4950 PIV + 50 PIV (submission fee from me, paid in advance and then returned). = 5,000 PIV Total.

Hi Eric!
Currently in touch with a restaurant owner (connected through a mutual contact) who runs both a café and bar, a good fit to test the “PIVX is Easy” pilot across small, everyday transactions like coffee and drinks.
I’ve already shared an overview and demo of how PIVX works, and the response was positive.
He had to travel to Europe this week, so we’ll continue the discussion once he’s back to explore the simplest way to start accepting PIVX in practice.

In the meantime, I’ve been taking every chance to promote and explain PIVX more broadly, many people, even younger ones might know “Bitcoin” or “crypto” in general, but don’t yet understand it let alone the utility and difference privacy coins like PIVX bring.

Once he’s back and we resume the conversation, I’ll hope to share a concrete next step update here. 🙏
