We are requesting support to provide continuous market making and liquidity for PIVX on NonKYC for an initial period of 3 months.

The goal is to improve PIVX liquidity, increase order-book depth, reduce spreads and slippage, and provide a better trading experience for PIVX users.

Program Duration

3 months

Liquidity Requirement

We estimate that approximately 50,000 PIVX per month will be required as working liquidity for the market-making operation.

Total for 3 months: 150,000 PIVX

The PIVX will be used to maintain active buy and sell-side liquidity on NonKYC and dynamically manage the order book based on market conditions and trading demand.

Objectives

  • Improve PIVX liquidity on NonKYC
  • Increase order-book depth
  • Reduce spreads and slippage
  • Provide consistent buy and sell liquidity
  • Support organic trading activity
  • Improve the overall trading experience for PIVX users
The strategy will focus on providing genuine liquidity and improving market quality rather than artificially generating trading volume.

During the 3-month period, we can provide regular reports covering relevant metrics such as liquidity, spreads, order-book depth, and trading activity.

Requested allocation: 150,000 PIVX for 3 months
Monthly allocation: 50,000 PIVX

Hey @MrAli ,

You are new to the Community, and people don't know you yet. Can you please give us some background on your experience doing Marker Making, perhaps with some data to demonstrate your effectiveness?

Thanks

Thanks for asking. To be transparent, I don’t have a previous professional track record as a market maker, so I don’t want to claim experience I don’t have.

However, I have already started providing liquidity for PIVX using 100,000 PIVX of my own funds. I’m doing this at my own expense to test the approach, understand the market conditions, and gain practical experience with PIVX liquidity before proposing a larger community-funded initiative.

My background is in crypto and blockchain since 2018, with experience in blockchain development and infrastructure.

The purpose of this proposal is to expand on what I have already started and provide more consistent liquidity on non-KYC markets, with a focus on improving order-book depth, maintaining reasonable spreads, and reducing slippage.

I believe the results should be evaluated transparently using measurable metrics such as liquidity depth, spread, trading conditions, volume, and uptime.

I’m also open to treating the proposed 3-month period as a pilot, allowing the community to evaluate the actual results before considering any longer-term arrangement.

Ah! OK. So, you are going to be using the AMM tools at NonKYC.io. You are asking for funds for the PIVX side, and you will match the value on the USDT side. Sounds good!

Please consider working with Jeffrey to make sure your efforts compliment his Marker Maker efforts too.

This way, the MM doesn’t need to sell into the market to provide liquidity.

Apologies as the first part of this comment is not to do with your proposal but I will get there.

Colour me skeptical and call me a conspiracy theorist but rather odd that all of a sudden our much needed active Dev Luke, our business Dev Jeffrey and and PIVX labs small proposals all got voted down, when yours for a MM for NONkyc shows up. Not only that but I read your questions to Luke and Jeffrey that you also posted today, interesting don't you think that you wait until today to ask questions when you had prior months to ask? I don't believe in coincidences, do you?

In regards to your proposal, we have a business Dev who is in charge of asking for funds for MMs, a trusted one that has been fighting for PIVX longer than I have been here which is 8 years. Did you reach out to Jeffrey and let him know you wanted to pursue a MM for NONkyc prior to submitting your proposal? Or did you JFDI? You see I am really confused as to how someone the team hardly knows, someone that doesn't have a track record of attaining MMs writes a proposal requesting funding for one. And again, at the same time Jeffrey's proposal is voted down.

It is true that anyone can come off of the streets and submit a proposal so good for you on doing that, but at this time when PIVX is being hit hard everywhere and trust is paramount, I would vote no on yours because I do not know you or your work.
