MrAli

New Pivian
We are requesting support to provide continuous market making and liquidity for PIVX on NonKYC for an initial period of 3 months.

The goal is to improve PIVX liquidity, increase order-book depth, reduce spreads and slippage, and provide a better trading experience for PIVX users.

Program Duration

3 months

Liquidity Requirement

We estimate that approximately 50,000 PIVX per month will be required as working liquidity for the market-making operation.

Total for 3 months: 150,000 PIVX

The PIVX will be used to maintain active buy and sell-side liquidity on NonKYC and dynamically manage the order book based on market conditions and trading demand.

Objectives

  • Improve PIVX liquidity on NonKYC
  • Increase order-book depth
  • Reduce spreads and slippage
  • Provide consistent buy and sell liquidity
  • Support organic trading activity
  • Improve the overall trading experience for PIVX users
The strategy will focus on providing genuine liquidity and improving market quality rather than artificially generating trading volume.

During the 3-month period, we can provide regular reports covering relevant metrics such as liquidity, spreads, order-book depth, and trading activity.

Requested allocation: 150,000 PIVX for 3 months
Monthly allocation: 50,000 PIVX

Hey @MrAli ,

You are new to the Community, and people don't know you yet. Can you please give us some background on your experience doing Marker Making, perhaps with some data to demonstrate your effectiveness?

Thanks

Thanks for asking. To be transparent, I don’t have a previous professional track record as a market maker, so I don’t want to claim experience I don’t have.

However, I have already started providing liquidity for PIVX using 100,000 PIVX of my own funds. I’m doing this at my own expense to test the approach, understand the market conditions, and gain practical experience with PIVX liquidity before proposing a larger community-funded initiative.

My background is in crypto and blockchain since 2018, with experience in blockchain development and infrastructure.

The purpose of this proposal is to expand on what I have already started and provide more consistent liquidity on non-KYC markets, with a focus on improving order-book depth, maintaining reasonable spreads, and reducing slippage.

I believe the results should be evaluated transparently using measurable metrics such as liquidity depth, spread, trading conditions, volume, and uptime.

I’m also open to treating the proposed 3-month period as a pilot, allowing the community to evaluate the actual results before considering any longer-term arrangement.

Ah! OK. So, you are going to be using the AMM tools at NonKYC.io. You are asking for funds for the PIVX side, and you will match the value on the USDT side. Sounds good!

Please consider working with Jeffrey to make sure your efforts compliment his Marker Maker efforts too.

This way, the MM doesn’t need to sell into the market to provide liquidity.

Apologies as the first part of this comment is not to do with your proposal but I will get there.

Colour me skeptical and call me a conspiracy theorist but rather odd that all of a sudden our much needed active Dev Luke, our business Dev Jeffrey and and PIVX labs small proposals all got voted down, when yours for a MM for NONkyc shows up. Not only that but I read your questions to Luke and Jeffrey that you also posted today, interesting don't you think that you wait until today to ask questions when you had prior months to ask? I don't believe in coincidences, do you?

In regards to your proposal, we have a business Dev who is in charge of asking for funds for MMs, a trusted one that has been fighting for PIVX longer than I have been here which is 8 years. Did you reach out to Jeffrey and let him know you wanted to pursue a MM for NONkyc prior to submitting your proposal? Or did you JFDI? You see I am really confused as to how someone the team hardly knows, someone that doesn't have a track record of attaining MMs writes a proposal requesting funding for one. And again, at the same time Jeffrey's proposal is voted down.

It is true that anyone can come off of the streets and submit a proposal so good for you on doing that, but at this time when PIVX is being hit hard everywhere and trust is paramount, I would vote no on yours because I do not know you or your work.

Thank you for being direct and for sharing everything you were thinking. I appreciate the honesty.

For clarification, I had already been in contact with Jeffrey before submitting the proposal, and we are coordinating on this.

Regarding the questions I asked about the proposals, I came across the Binance proposal and there were some things I needed clarification on, so I asked about them. I don’t think there is any connection between my questions or my proposal and whether someone else’s proposal passed or failed.

Previously, we were mostly looking at PIVX from a distance. Now that PIVX is facing serious financial difficulties and is at risk of disappearing, we decided to step in and help.

And if any member of the PIVX community has a problem with our presence or with what we are trying to do, that’s completely fine. We can simply walk away from the team today.

I was told that you did not approach Jeffrey about submitting this proposal thus the comment related to that subject.
You will find that I am very protective of the core group having been part of it now for 8 years and seeing how hard they work, so when I see someone new all of a sudden ask questions during a very stressful period of time and to active and trusted staff while their proposals are all of a sudden failing, I will question.
I feel that you understand where I am coming from as I feel that you would do the same with your team had it been the other way around.

And look! The proposals are voted back in! Smart voting MN owners I see. 😉

There is absolutely no intention of attacking or undermining the PIVX team. We are all fighting for the same goal, and that goal is PIVX.

Regarding your comment as well, we are not a team. It is only me, and I am fully and 100% aligned with and committed to supporting the current PIVX team.

The reason I am active right now is simply because I believe PIVX needs people like me in these circumstances. There are many things that need to be worked on for PIVX at the moment, and I am trying to help wherever I can.

I sincerely hope the team is always successful, even if they ultimately decide not to accept or include me. My priority is PIVX and its success, not my own position.

Simple question: In your plan, what happens to the 150K PIV after 3 months?
The 150K PIV is allocated for liquidity provision for the 3-month period. The final PIV balance may be different depending on market conditions and rebalancing. After 3 months, we'll report the remaining funds, and any continuation would require a new proposal.

That doesn't answer my question. :)

Let's assume the price of $0.02 USD. Then each month, you add $1K USDT from your personal funds and 50,000 PIV received from the Treasury. Ignoring price changes, re-balancing and fees, at the end of 3 months, it is at $3K USDT of your funds and 150K PIV from the Treasury.

If a new proposal you submit fails, or you simply decide not to do it anymore, the $3K USDT is obviously yours, but what happens to the 150K PIV?

Similarly, what happens with the PIV received from the Treasury if this proposal fails on the 2nd and/or 3rd month?

I’m attaching a screenshot from the current liquidity positions so you can see how the rebalancing works in practice.

Each position originally started with 50,000 PIVX + 743.15 USDT. As the PIVX price moved, the position was automatically rebalanced. It currently holds around 42,911 PIVX + 865.91 USDT.

So the original 50K PIVX did not remain exactly 50K — part of the PIVX was converted into USDT as the price moved. This is why I cannot guarantee that 150K PIVX will remain at the end of the 3-month period.

The important point is that the DAO-funded assets remain in the liquidity position; the PIVX/USDT composition changes based on the market. The final amount of each asset can only be determined when the position is closed or the period ends.

Since you’ve already voted against my proposal, let the masternode owners make the decision.

Hello again.

You STILL have not answered my question.

I literally said; " Ignoring price changes, re-balancing and fees,".

No matter what happens, the amount at the end will be a mix of USDT and PIVX. The USDT is yours. The PIVX is not. It belongs to the DAO. So, for the 3rd time I will ask; What will happen to the PIVX balance if this proposal is not renewed or fails to pass at some point?

Thanks

this should be held by market maker not a random person and held by jeffery or similar person with trust. 1000 votes already for someone who has just popped up...

Let me be 100% clear and put this to rest once and for all:

As you and Jeffrey are well aware, this initial liquidity on NonKYC was started following discussions with community leadership to demonstrate real market depth.

In an AMM / automated liquidity pool, assets rebalance automatically:
As seen in the screenshot, as PIVX price increased, the pool rebalanced part of the original 100K PIVX into USDT, resulting in ~85.8K PIVX + ~1,731 USDT (with the total position value actually up +16.55%).

To answer your question directly:
If the proposal is ever terminated or not renewed, the entire DAO-funded portion of the position is unwound and returned to the DAO. That means BOTH the remaining PIVX AND the USDT that was generated from PIVX rebalancing belong to the DAO and will be remitted back to the community multi-sig / treasury with full on-chain accounting.

Nobody is pocketing the USDT while leaving the DAO with fewer PIVX. The entire value generated from the DAO's capital stays with the DAO.

While many were content simply collecting rewards from their masternodes, we stepped in with real capital and effort to actively help this ecosystem. We stepped up with infrastructure and liquidity because we were encouraged to support NonKYC. We are delivering real results, genuine order-book depth, and 100% transparency.

We also noticed the ~100 masternodes remaining in reserve that have yet to cast their vote. We are monitoring the network closely, but our goal remains constructive collaboration, not politics.

Extra pivx for himself for his trouble...obviously.
We understand your concern, but we are certainly not a "random person popping up."

We monitor network infrastructure very closely and are well aware of the 200 Tor (.onion) masternodes that were brought online today to cast their 200 NO votes against this proposal.

Instead of assuming bad faith, we invite you to actually read the proposal and our explanations above. We have deployed real capital, maintain active infrastructure, and the 1,000+ votes reflect masternode operators who genuinely care about expanding PIVX liquidity and market depth on NonKYC.

Our commitment to transparency, milestone reporting, and working alongside established stewards like Jeffrey is genuine. Let's focus on building real utility for PIVX.

Extra pivx for himself for his trouble...obvi
Know who you are talking to before making cheap, baseless insinuations.

We are not here to panhandle for "extra PIVX" or pocket petty fees for our "trouble." We have deployed massive infrastructure, substantial private capital, and deep technical commitment to PIVX while others sit on the sidelines throwing cynical remarks.

Let me state this with absolute finality: Not a single satoshi of PIVX or USDT belongs to personal pockets. The entire capital, every bit of liquidity, and any value generated through rebalancing remains 100% DAO property and will be fully remitted back to the DAO treasury with verifiable on-chain proof.

If you have legitimate technical critique, bring data and facts. Otherwise, keep your baseless sarcasm to yourself and watch real builders deliver results.
ously.

So, the NonKYC.io AMM/Liquidity pool works great, but it primarily designed for individuals to provide liquidity. When PIVX Treasury funds are involved, @Jeffrey typically manages the funds. What you are proposing, is using it with a mix of your personal funds and Treasury funds. This is the first time this has been suggested, and while we appreciate the offer to match funds, TRUST is still an issue.

You stated; "The entire value generated from the DAO's capital stays with the DAO."

How so? If the proposal is voted down, or you decide to not do it anymore, do you then give the DAO's capital to @Jeffrey to then manage?

Just saying; "stays with the DAO" still doesn't answer the question. WHERE DO THE FUNDS GO?
