How do the doubling Staking rewards increase the security?

Good morning,

Can I ask about the last part (#3) of

1) A 10X increase in payments allocated to the treasury to fund operations and initiatives.
2) A doubling of Masternode rewards to increase the number of Masternodes.
3) A doubling of Staking rewards to enhance security.

How do the doubling Staking rewards increase the security? .. please don't see this as "fud" - do you expect that this will help to have more staking wallets online?

Also, is there a way to find a number of active staking wallets from the console or otherwise? .. would help with a task of comparing how one or another change influences habits of the community.

Stakers are the ones securing the network. More coins staking == more security. If the coins are on exchanges, they are not staking.

Unfortunately, there is no way to accurately determine the number of coins being staked at any given time.
