Active PIVX Turkey Promotion Work

talhatr

Active Pivian
First of all, I wish the entire PIVX community happy holidays.
I would like to resubmit a proposal for activities in Turkey.

For the first time in a long while, I have seen genuine support from the community for a real Turkish user contributing to PIVX. I believe this momentum will lead to positive progress.

My plans for the upcoming period are more dynamic:

  • Following the Istanbul crypto event I attended, I will represent PIVX as a speaker at a crypto conference towards the end of January.
  • With Batuhan joining the Turkish community, I now have someone to share responsibilities with.
  • My immediate goal is to plan events on Telegram to further energize the community.
  • I am negotiating with local businesses in my area to offer discounts for PIVX users and working on the details.
  • Thanks to Twitter subscriptions, we have access to analytics, which provide positive data for progress.
  • Batuhan and I will collaborate this month to translate PIVX resources into Turkish.
  • Weekly YouTube videos will be shared regularly.
  • Daily short videos for social media are being prepared.
  • I am trying to communicate with Turkish representatives of exchanges like Gate.io, MEXC, Binance, and Bitmart. Additionally, I am working on planning an event where PIVX will be at the forefront.
  • Seven articles are ready to be published on Medium.
Two options are being considered for YouTube videos. Hawtch’s YouTube advertising statistics show positive results. In this context, I plan to run ad campaigns for the long videos we will post weekly on the PIVX Turkey YouTube channel.

I believe that by the end of this proposal period, all of our statistics and progress will reach at least 2-3 times their current levels. If you have any questions, please feel free to let me know!
With Twitter premium, we will now analyze on a monthly basis. I also aim to keep these statistics on youtube

YouTube short videos will continue to be released more consistently and effectively. Additionally, with YouTube ad campaigns, we believe the average views will increase by +200-300.
I am waiting for all your questions, positive and negative. I am fixing the offer size at 3600 PIVX compared to last months as I am also considering the other Turkish Ambassador. I must emphasize that I will receive the necessary requests for the Conference next month, but that will be next month's topic. (Of course the MN owners and the community will decide)

Thank you to everyone who voted / Rejected.

  • Planning is underway to make the Telegram group more active and to invite new people. (Recently, there have been many people speculating about the price.) To address this situation, more awareness-focused content needs to be created, and we are working on this.
    • I made a potential agreement with a business, but this involves a cost for us. It’s a food business, and they agreed to use PIVX logos on all their menus and delivery boxes if we can sponsor them. However, since this involves a cost, it needs to be evaluated more broadly.
    • I had a meeting with Leacymyk, and we realized something we hadn’t thought of before. Although the PIVX official website has been translated into many languages, Turkish is not among them. Therefore, we want to translate the pivx.org website into Turkish. We will discuss this as soon as possible.
    • Batuhan has taken on the task of producing YouTube videos about PIVX and has released one more video. However, I believe it would be better to proceed differently. Progress can be accelerated by sharing videos on both his personal channel and PIVX's official YouTube channel.
    • I am trying to meet with representatives of crypto exchanges where PIVX is listed. However, all of them have stated that they are currently not suitable for an AMA event and suggested simpler events (such as Telegram events). But they are also asking for a budget for this. That’s why we will organize an event with an exchange we truly believe in.
    • Articles have started to be published on Medium and will continue:
    • This month, two Privacy Podcast recordings will be made. The estimated date for the first recording is January 17. The event will be held via Google Meet, and there will be one video recording and one audio recording.
    • We were also publishing articles on Substack, but the account was suspended for an unknown reason. Necessary appeals have been made.

Thanks to the annual Twitter subscription, we can now clearly view our statistics.
      • A new X account will be created. The PIVX Türkiye account will share translations of official visuals, articles, and other official content.
      • The new X account we will create will be called PIVX Türkiye Topluluğu. This account will share visuals and videos we prepare ourselves.
      • In this way, we will professionally maintain the brand awareness of the official PIVX Türkiye X account.
      • If you have any questions, please let me know.

      • Of course, updates will be shared tomorrow

This feedback is common to both Turkish proposals. I will post this same message on both.

I am having trouble reviewing both Turkish proposals.

Both list off many valuable line items to accomplish. However, understanding what has been completed each month is difficult. I am worried both are extremely over optimistic as to what can be accomplished. Ideas are easy. Execution is hard.

I get that things change, and unexpected hurdles present themselves all the time. So, I am not expecting everything to be completed. But, what would help me greatly, is a list of items that are completed each month. My concern is that months will pass, and the net sum of these proposals will be that many things were tried, and almost nothing was completed. There is value in starting small, and doing fewer things well, rather than starting many things and completing none.

Now, I realize that both proposals are brand new, but there have been prior proposals, and I am not seeing clear 'traction' being achieved with either. That doesn't mean it isn't there ..... it's just hard to pull out and separate from the long list of updates and messages.

Perhaps once a month, you can each prepare a brief list for; 1) Efforts Started, 2) Efforts with progress - and what that progress is, 3) Efforts completed and what the result is.

Once you have done this for your current proposals, then I can better decide how to vote.

I hope this makes sense.

Thanks!

You are partially correct in your statements. However, this is not about wanting to do many things at once. Social media posts and updates are already regularly managed by Leacymyk and shared with us. The key point here is what we aim to achieve. In my proposals, I provide information about various developments, such as meetings with exchange representatives or podcasts. However, in these cases, the initiative is not entirely in my hands. I try to reach out to as many people as possible via email and messages.

I will, of course, share monthly progress updates in my proposal.
Based on the commitments I made, I can already provide a progress report:

  • Currently, no events have been planned on Telegram. However, we agreed on organizing a social media event this Saturday with a prize pool of 1,000 PIVX. The aim is to invite people to the Telegram group and increase our focus on reaching more individuals.
  • Businesses cannot officially accept PIVX payments at the moment due to regulatory issues. However, if we have sponsorship opportunities, they’ve expressed their willingness to use materials such as menus, service plates, and t-shirts featuring our logos.
This would require funding, and given the current circumstances, I have concerns about whether it’s the right time to proceed with this.
  • I’ve shared Twitter statistics and will share a one-month summary again at the end of this month.
  • We discussed translating PIVX resources into Turkish yesterday, and we will start by translating the pivx.org website.
  • I’ve been collaborating with Batuhan for YouTube videos and social media content. One YouTube video has already been published, and we’re awaiting the release of the next one. I know his baby is unwell.
  • Articles have been published on Medium and will continue to be updated regularly. The next article is scheduled for release on Thursday.
  • Regarding advertising for YouTube shorts, we planned to consult with Hawtch. However, I added some funds to my Google Ads account from my budget and attempted to promote the video. Unfortunately, it wasn’t approved because it contains "cryptocurrency" content. I need to develop a strategy for this.
  • There are, of course, other developments that I haven’t mentioned here. For example, the crypto event I attended last year will be held again this year with more participants and greater scale. At last year’s event, I made direct connections with GCB and BingX exchanges and facilitated communication with Jeffrey. Although discussions with BingX exchange took place in a Telegram group, they were put on hold as Jeffrey had plans with other exchanges.
This year, I informed Jeffrey about the event and suggested he participate as a speaker. He said he couldn’t attend physically due to travel commitments but could potentially join digitally. We’re also considering renting a stand for PIVX at this event.

There are other updates I haven’t shared because I need to secure them before announcing anything.

I am here and have no hesitation about going out into the field to promote PIVX to people.
Update reports will now be shared in a more organized manner. Your decision may be positive or negative, but at the very least, I am happy to provide honest updates about all progress.
